This mindfulness session is particularly beneficial for anyone suffering from chronic pain, including chronic emotional pain, illness, fatigue, or any other long-term health condition with symptoms such as muscle pain, brain fog, low mood and anxiety.
Join us in short mindfulness and grounding practices to ease the stress and suffering associated with pain, fatigue and ill health.
Mindful movement practices will help to release built-up tension and self-compassion exercises provide a kinder, more effective way of dealing with difficulty, managing pain and improving well-being.
The session is based on the award-winning Mindfulness for Health course delivered by Rachele Smith from Mindful People Community CIC. Rachele is a Qualified Mindfulness Professional with The British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA), delivering courses, workshops and retreats privately and to local governments and health departments internationally. She is experienced in working with clients suffering from long-term stress and health conditions, as well as managing 15 years of personal experience of injury and chronic pain with mindfulness. Mindful People Community is supervised by Breathworks Mindfulness and The International Mindful Academy, following the BAMBA and MBSR good practice guidelines.
This is not an exercise class but please bring a mat to sit on or request a chair in your booking.
